About PCrecycle.BIZ

Having been involved with computers since 1981 and a full time computer professional since 1988 I've seen a lot of changes in the PC world.  All this change has created a great deal of old equipment that needs to be dealt with.  Just because electronic equipment has reached its end of life for one user, it doesn't mean it is useless.  And we don't want to see this equipment with its toxic metals and chemicals in the landfill.

My goal is to recycle PC's and other electronics to users who cannot afford or do not want the expense of new.  If equipment is too old for most modern uses (as are pre-Pentium processors) or is un-repairable, then we endeavor to dispose of it properly, and we are currently working with the Alachua County Office of Waste Management.  See the Links page for more information.

I’m also recycling computer cables and accessories, vintage surplus electronic supplies for tube TV’s and radios, and hobbyist parts such as project chassis/ boxes, capacitors, resistors, power supplies, transformers, transistors, etc.  See my store listing on the home page.
